Scarlet Pearl Cares
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort shows its support for the community by giving back to local organizations. Recently, the property donated $10,000 to both the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi and the (left) Alzheimer’s Association of South Mississippi. And, together with Everi Holding, Inc., the D’Iberville property donated $16,366 (right) to the local chapter of the American Heart Association. Vicki Haskins, Scarlet Pearl community relations, help present the donations.
Baskets of Cheer
Treasure Bay extended its commitment to the community during the Easter season by creating and delivering handmade baskets to residents at The Blake, a local assisted living and memory care community. Crewmembers, including Diannah Roell, Matthew Ulm, and Michelle Necaise, assembled 50 baskets filled with thoughtful items, including sugar- free treats and small comforts designed to brighten the holiday.
Swing For MGM
Beau Rivage Resort & Casino held its annual employee golf outing at Fallen Oak. In March, a total of 144 team members in 36 teams across many departments participated in the Swing For MGM
Employee Charity Golf Tournament. The event raised more than $13,000 for the MGM Resorts Foundation, which supports community grants to a variety of local nonprofit organizations, as well as the Employee Emergency Grant fund. tournament’s winning team for the morning flight included (above) Jaden Cheatham, Mateo Valdez, Kolbi Knapp and Trevor Curry, while afternoon flight winners were (right) Hai Tai, Ryan Caprari, Gilbert Rubinsack and Nick Gorana.

Donating to Help
Horseshoe Tunica recently donated $10,000 to Sacred Heart Southern Missions (SHSM). Laura Grisham (center), SHSM, received the check from Horseshoe’s Malia Jackson (left) and Cynthia J. Smith. Sacred Heart Southern Missions staffs and funds a variety of programs in a five-county area of northwest Mississippi and two elementary schools serving more than 400 children.
Humane Society Volunteers
Harrah’s Gulf Coast team members spent time recently volunteering at the Humane Society of South Mississippi. The team members brought large donations of foods and snacks, along with toys and swimming pools. They spent time with the dogs, walking, playing and loving them, and then spent time organizing the HSSM resale store.
