Harrah’s team member gets company-wide honor
BILOXI — A Harrah’s Gulf Coast employee earned a spot among Caesars’ most outstanding team members nationwide after being named a regional winner for the Caesars Founders Award, Caesars Entertainment’s highest honor.
Rochell Myers, retail clerk, was honored alongside other company-wide winners at a gala held in Las Vegas and attended by Caesars’ top leadership.
The gala took place at Caesars Palace, where Myers and fellow honorees were treated to a welcome reception at the exclusive Caesars Palace villa and had lunch at Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon
Ramsay, before the gala.
Myers, who received the Together We
Win Award, was recognized for going above and beyond her role in the Lucky Duck Gift Shop, where she took on duties across departments, including EVS and the spa while excelling in her own role. She has worked at Harrah’s for 14 years.
Hospitality manager Ellen Erhard said, “What made Rochell truly stand out wasn’t just what she did, but how she did it: with a constant smile, uplifting energy, and a commitment to creating joyful interactions for both guests and team members.”

Founder’s Day
The original Hard Rock, founded by two American hippies, opened its doors on June 14, 1971, in London. June 14 has since become known as Founder’s Day among Hard Rock employees, and in Biloxi, Hard Rock employees celebrated the day by wearing their best hippie outfits in homage. Employees also enjoyed a special
menu in the employee dining room comprised of food that was featured on the original menu.
