Upscale steaks to Southern comfort: Pearl River Resort dining scene has it all
Select from Wine Spectator-honored wine list at Phillip M’s
CHOCTAW — From upscale steakhouse elegance to grab- and-go coffee and late-night sports bar vibes, Pearl River Resort continues to deliver one of the most varied dining lineups in the region.
Leading the pack is Phillip M’s, located inside Silver Star Hotel & Casino — a refined tribute to the late Chief Phillip Martin that consistently earns Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence” for its outstanding cellar and sophisticated menu.
The wine list at Phillip M’s was recognized for its 800 selections and a 6,600-plus-bottle inventory, with particular strengths in wines from Burgundy, France, and California.
To earn a Best of Award of Excellence, the wine list must display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation. Typically offering 350 or more selections, restaurants earning this designation are destinations for serious wine lovers and show a deep commitment to wine, both in the cellar and through their service team.
Craving classic Southern comfort? Mama ‘n’ Em dishes out generous plates of home-style favorites, complete with skillet cornbread that keeps guests coming back. Meanwhile, Stats Sports Bar & Grill keeps the energy high with juicy burgers, smoky barbecue, crisp wings, and wall-to-wall big-screen TVs broadcasting every game.
Need something fast? Rally Alley serves made-to-order deli sandwiches and hot pizza slices, while The Bakery at Silver Star starts the day right with flaky pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and specialty coffee drinks. Over at Golden Moon Hotel & Casino, The Bistro is open around the clock for everything from ribeyes to club sandwiches, and the adjacent Time Out Lounge/Sportsbook Bar is the go-to weekend spot for bets,

brews, and bar bites. For a quieter moment, Whiskey Bean offers artisanal espresso drinks paired with light sandwiches, and golfers wrapping up a round at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club can refuel at the scenic Clubhouse Restaurant.
A longtime favorite remains The Buffet, where guests pile plates high on Fridays (4–10 p.m.) and Saturdays (3–10:30 p.m.) for $34.99. Love crab legs? Add endless snow crab for just $14 per pound.
Every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Pearl River Resort says thank you to those who’ve served with the “Saluting Service and Wisdom” special: seniors, veterans, and first responders enjoy the full buffet for only $9.99 (regularly $16.99).
