Named after a beloved Baltimore park, Dru Hill comprises original members Nokio and Sisqó, along with new additions Smoke and Black, who joined in 2018. In August of the same year, Dru Hill announced a new album, The Second Coming, featuring its redefined lineup.
The first single from the album, “What You Need,” marked a new chapter for the group. Together, Smoke and Black bring unmatched vocal range and fresh energy to the group while preserving the classic harmonies fans have cherished for decades, continuing its legacy as pioneers of R&B music.
With more than 40 million records sold worldwide, the group’s influence extends far beyond music. From chart- topping albums to memorable performances in blockbuster film soundtracks, such as “Rush Hour” and “Wild Wild West,”
stars Matt Ryan, who began performing as the legendary “Boss” in 2000 as part of the world-famous Legends in Concert cast in Las Vegas. Ryan’s portrayal evolved into “Bruce In The USA,” which debuted on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood’s V Theatre in 2004. “Bruce in the USA” features a lineup of seasoned, world-class musicians who have worked with iconic acts such as Queen/Paul Rodgers, Meat Loaf, Hall and Oates, Blue Öyster Cult, The O’Jays and many more. Together, they deliver a powerhouse performance that has earned critical acclaim and made “Bruce in the USA” the world’s No. 1 tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
See An American Soldier - A Toby Keith Tribute at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12. American Soldier is a high-energy tribute show honoring country music legend Toby Keith, featuring Dewayne Terry, a seasoned performer whose powerful vocals and commanding stage presence bring Keith’s biggest hits to life.
