What would you like our readers to know about your business? Floor Co. is a full service flooring and design store. We specialize in new construction and home remodels. We offer a wide variety of all floor covering types as
well as installation services and window treatments. We have an interior designer on hand to help bring your ideas and concepts to life.
What do you like best about what you do? What I like best about my job is creating design with flooring. When I sit down with a client and we pull all aspects of the house together to accomplish an overall look and the customer is satisfied it brings great gratification. I must say the
end result is what I look forward to most.
What sets your business apart from others in the same field? Here at Floor Co. we are unique and diverse. Our showroom has products unlike any other here on the coast. We strive to have the most innovative products and installation designs in the market. We are young entrepreneurs with new creative and bold ideas. We are energetic and ready to serve.
As a child, what did you dream of becoming when you grew up? As a child, just like many I dreamed of becoming many things. However, one dream that sticks out greatly is sharing a flooring business with my father.
I am second generation in this business and have continued the family business. I was grateful enough to have lived that dream and he has taught me what I know today.
Tell us about one valuable lesson you learned along the way:
As a business owner you tend to learn many lessons. However the greatest lesson that I have learned is that when you own a small business no one situation is alike. We are constantly reinventing
ourselves and as soon as you have a process down another one is taking place. We strive to grow and become better with everyday and every situation.
Is there anything you would change to make the Coast better? Absolutely yes! I would encourage everyone to shop local. Support family businesses. You will not only get better customer service but you are supporting your local economy.
