Landscape Architecture, Sally also designed a courtyard and outdoor living space. This area has a fountain plumbed for both fire and water. The brick used for the courtyard and fireplace was once a warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Inside the house, the Joachims turned the open space at the top of the
stair landing into a library. “Because we had books and photographs collected over the years, I designed the library and window seat with storage, in keeping with the style of the house,” Sally said.
The Joachims have decorated their lovely home with treasures from 46 countries from when they lived over seas.
