The Buffet ($29.99), also located in Island View Casino, will honor Mom with a feast fit for a queen from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Featuring crab and butternut squash soup, large peel-and- eat Gulf shrimp, cheese omelets, cherries jubilee French toast and praline pecan- topped sweet potato casserole, the buffet also has sliced lamb roast with roasted onions and mint jelly, grilled tournedos of tenderloin with Bearnaise sauce, grilled salmon and crabmeat-stuffed fried shrimp.
There is also Chef Mike’s award- winning St. Louis ribs and General Tso’s crispy chicken, as well as all the traditional favorites from the Asian, Southern, and Italian stations. And for the finale, there is a variety of house- made gelatos, custards and ice creams at the area’s largest dessert bar.
Dockside Deli, located in Beach View Casino, has a special menu ($24) beginning with a choice of seafood gumbo or Caesar salad. For the entree choose either a seafood omelet with saffron hollandaise sauce topped with Gulf crabmeat and asparagus tips or slow-roasted sliced lamb roast with potatoes, fresh vegetables, a rich brown sauce and mint jam.
Don’t forget dessert, wild blueberry lemon tart to finish the meal. Dockside Deli offers this menu on from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and every mom deserves to be pampered. Beau Rivage’s culinary teams are getting ready to make Mom feel the love with special menus so she
can enjoy the day.
Treat Mom to a brunch

created an exclusive event that
features blue crab Benedict, fresh chilled seafood, made-to-order eggs and omelets, a chef’s carving station, a pastry display, bottomless mimosas, bloody
Mary’s and champagne. Children under two are free.
In addition, live music with strolling violin and guitar featuring Gram Rea and Donte Nagle will entertain from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In addition to the regular menu at Coraline’s, Chef Austin
Dedeaux will offer a
featured dish. Enjoy a
flour-dusted halibut ($72) with citrus asparagus risotto, Gulf shrimp, jalapeno strawberry relish and fried leeks. Coraline’s is open from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

will be offering an appetizer of thick
cut and lightly breaded fried zucchini and fried eggplant served over a peppery arugulaandspicyvodkasauce,followed by a pan-seared Faroe Island salmon, pesto risotto with blistered cherry tomatoes, artichokes and spinach in a cream sauce. Enjoy carrot cake with burnt orange sauce, a ginger tuille and cream cheese gelato for dessert. Stalla is open 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Jia has a full menu on Mother’s Day and will have two features from Chef Nattalie Henderson: braised short ribs ($68.88) with crispy sour rice and tempura fried king mushroom and the shrimp papaya salad ($28.88) that features shrimp, papaya, mango, spicy nuoc mum, crushed peanuts and cilantro. Jia is open 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Salt & Ivy Chef Zac Fillhart will be offering Mother’s Day features, including the surf and turf dinner entree ($55).
This entree features twin four-ounce filets and a six-ounce Maine lobster tail with loaded mashed potato and asparagus with hollandaise sauce. In addition to Salt & Ivy’s Champagne brunch menu featured every weekend, the restaurant has a surf and turf Benedict ($39), with a filet, poached eggs and lobster meat on an English muffin, topped with Bearnaise sauce and choice of grits or breakfast
potatoes.
Also for dinner, try the blue crab
fritters ($22), tasty imported lump blue crab with roasted corn maque choux and crab cream sauce.
And, the holiday dessert special is a lemon blueberry tiramisu ($12), served
all day.
Salt & Ivy is open 6
a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Palace Casino
Celebrate Mother’s Day at Palace Casino Resort where both the Palace Buffet and Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood have special meals for the May 10 holiday.
In the Palace Buffet ($43 with players club card, $45 without), a holiday menu featuring seasonal favorites plus prime rib, Champagne and all best from the Grill, Comfort, Wok and Coastal stations will be offered. There will also be a variety of desserts and salads. The buffet is served 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood, Mother’s Day special menu items, in addition to the à la carte menu, are offered from noon to 6 p.m. Enjoy strawberry salad, Biloxi stew, petite filet mignon, lobster and shrimp Thermidor and Mississippi mud cake. Reservations are recommended, and can be made at opentable.com.
Treasure Bay
Treasure Bay is serving brunch on May 10. In the infinity buffet, a special holiday meal featuring carved ham, smoked sausage, baked flounder and shrimp and grits will be available. Plus, indulge in crab legs, lobster and crawfish along with a variety of breakfast favorites. Be sure to save room for one of the many desserts.
