radition is one of those charming places that just feels like home. It can be felt the moment you drive through the entrance and see the pristine
landscaping, sidewalks and Southern style homes with inviting porches.
Residents say it’s a great place for multi generations who’re in different stages
of life. One connected family is retiree Georgette Mattina, her daughter Cynthia Andrews and nephew Todd Joachim. Cynthia and Gregg Andrews are recent empty nesters, and Todd and Sally Joachim have young children. Each family says Tradition suits their lifestyle.
Mattina downsized from a large house with a pool. “I bought this house for the carport, breezeway and all the storage,” she said. “I really like the peace and serenity here, and I like going to the YMCA, which is within walking distance. Plus, I do a lot with the neighbors.”
Her home is colorful and reflects her well-lived life and interests. Persian rugs and antiques give the rooms character along with her collections, including an assortment of crucifixes. Large bookshelves in the den are filled with books, artwork and family mementos
The kitchen has off-white cabinets with black pulls and black countertops. A special collection of Italian pottery has a place
of honor in the space above the cabinets.
Home isn’t where you stay.
It’s where you live.
Living well starts with experiencing everything our
community has to o er. It’s quiet moments on your front porch, a scenic run through our nature trails or a family picnic in the park. It’s all here.
