Lynn Wade
Suzanne: Growing up I watched my dad, Kenny Smith, become a very successful, driven businessman. He opened this real estate company almost 50 years ago, and after getting my business degree I decided to join my dad and get my real estate license. I owe my father much of my success.
Lynn: I absolutely love helping people set a goal and bring their dream to fruition!
I know that nothing is impossible – If someone wants a house, I know which lender to call and how to bring all parties together and make it happen. I love the challenge and seeing God’s ngerprints all over it at the end!

Faces of SOUTH MISSISSIPPI
Face of Love, ivy/Franko’s April Bullock Burks
April Bullock Burks opened her rst boutique, Eve Marie’s in Hattiesburg, at the young age of 24. “I heard a lot of people tell me that I was too young or it was too hard for a woman to be an entrepre- neur. In true April fashion, I had to prove them all wrong and show them exactly what I was capable of.” she said.
While worthwhile, owning a business is never easy. “I put in work every single day,” Burks says. “But the reward of being successful is the greatest feeling!”
Burks enjoys getting to know her customers, saying, “I love giving women con dence through clothing and friendship. Being a woman is di cult most days, and if I can make a di erence in someone’s life by becoming a friend or giving a little con dence boost, I consider it a success.”
However, Burks’ greatest success is being a mom- my to her sweet baby boy and building a family with her husband of three years, Landon.
