“We look at our patrons as our
extended family, joined by our
common love of ne cigars.
”
After leaving the Mississippi Gulf Coast for college, Cree and Colby Cantrell found themselves drawn back to the Coast following their graduations. For years, the couple has wanted to run a business together. Now they own The Epitome in Edgewater Mall where they sell premium cigars, ne tobacco, co ee, and a variety of gifts. They love to help people nd exactly what they need in their store.
“South Mississippi is unique because it o ers all of the amenities of a big city including world-class resorts and incredible dining, but it has the charm and intimacy of a small town,” they say. “We love being able to go to any restaurant or business and know the owner and most of the customers.”
When not working hard and treating the customers of their own business like family, they are passionate about being involved with their local community. They are active in organizations such as the Biloxi Rotary Club and the Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Com- merce. In their free time, Colby enjoys brunch and shopping while Cree appreciates golf, cigars, and boating.
The couple has two dogs and two cats – but their family is growing! They are expecting their rst child in March 2021.
