   Red Lotus at Ameristar
  Ameristar Casino Hotel recently opened its newest eatery, Red Lotus Asian Kitchen. Located on
the first floor of the casino, the restaurant features a complete array of Asian dishes, including beef lo mein, General Tso’s chicken and assorted fried rice. Plus, enjoy pho, spring rolls, dumplings and more. Red Lotus Asian Kitchen is open Thursday through Sunday, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Don’t forget the dessert: a fire-roasted apple crumble will finish off the meal deliciously. Dockside Deli offers this special meal ($26) from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel
Mother’s Day dining at Silver Slipper Casino Hotel includes a special brunch and full-course meal. In the Jubilee Buffet, enjoy a champagne brunch ($49.95) from 11 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Prime rib, crab and shrimp will be available along with the regular menu served until 9 p.m.
And in the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill, the Mother’s Day special features a scallop appetizer ($20) with pan-seared pork belly and a maple-spy reduction with cherry garnish. The holiday entrée is Gulf Coast cioppino ($48). This tasty dish, served with grilled ciabatta and saffron rouille, has shrimp, crab, crawfish and mussels in a tomato fennel broth. The special is offered 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Regular brunch menu items are also available. Reservations are recommended

Treasure Bay
Treasure Bay has holiday meals everyone will love, including a Mother’s Day brunch served 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $38.69 with players club card ($19.99 without crab). The infinity buffet features carved ham, smoked sausage, stuffed flounder and baked chicken along with boiled crawfish and crab
legs, plus a variety of breakfast favorites. Be sure to save room for one of the special desserts. The buffet is located on
the second floor. Celebrate Mother’s
Day with Sunday brunch in The Den.
Enjoy a three-course menu featuring a choice of entrée: grilled redfish with Gulf shrimp ($28), shrimp and crab au gratin ($28), or eggs Benedict ($18). Each comes with soup or salad and crème brûlée cheesecake or chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Den is located on the ninth
floor.
