MISSISSIPPI — Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14, and one way to show Mom some love is to take her out for a meal. And whether your mother figure is your mom, your stepmom, your mother-in-law, your wife, your sister, your best friend who always takes care of you — well, whoever that person is, they are sure to feel pampered with a Champagne brunch, a festive lunch or a special dinner.
That’s where casinos come in. The chefs at your favorite casino have been working hard to cook up something special
for Moms on their day
for moms and their families. Options range from all-you- can-eat buffets to cafe meals and fine dining fare. And, no cleaning up for anyone.
For those restaurants suggesting reservations, make them soon. You don’t want Mom (not to mention, the rest of the family) to miss out. Just for a reminder, Mother’s Day is May 14, which is when all of these specials are available.
Palace Casino Resort
Palace Casino Resort has two restaurants with Mother’s Day meals. In the Palace Buffet, Mother’s Day brunch and dinner is served 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $28 with players club card ($30 without).
Enjoy all the favorites from the Grill, Comfort, Wok and Coastal stations, along with
plenty of holiday fare everyone will love.
In Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood, a three-course gourmet Mother’s Day dinner will be offered from noon to 6 p.m. for $75 per person.

Hard Rock Biloxi
Hard Rock has a Mother’s Day Buffet in the Satisfaction Buffet & Bar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost for the meal is $34.99. And for an extra treat, add three clusters of snow crab for an additional $19.99.
Scarlet Pearl Casino
At Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood has two special entrées. The crab and asparagus frittata ($34) features eggs, jumbo lump blue crab, asparagus, spinach and Parmesan. And the herb- crusted, 8-ounce petite filet ($72) comes with blue cheese whipped potato, roasted vegetables and Champagne-poached shrimp in a Bearnaise sauce.
