 New restaurant now open at Bok Homa Casino
 SANDERSVILLE — Bok Homa Casino celebrated the grand opening of its new Red Creek Restaurant as well as the casino’s recent expansion and 13th anniversary in January.
The new restaurant offers a variety of enticing dishes, including appetizers, soups and salads, burgers and po’ boys, as well as daily plate specials.
Red Creek Restaurant is Bok Homa Casino, which
    not only a place to eat, but also a place to celebrate the Choctaw (Chahta) heritage, which inspired the name of the restaurant. Bok means “creek” and Homa means “red” in the Choctaw language. A creek is illustrated in the casino’s red- and-white logo.
Red Creek Restaurant is part of a recent expansion of
added 7,000 square feet of gaming and entertainment space, including a state-of- the-art sportsbook and an entertainment stage.

Island View Casino
Sweep your sweetie off their feet with a sensational Valentine’s meal at Island View Casino Resort. There are three days and three restaurants to help celebrate
the occasion. Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 14-17, from 5 to
10 p.m., the specials can be enjoyed at Carter Green Steakhouse inside Island View Casino, Beach Blvd Steamer on Hwy 90 next to Island View and Prime Cut in Beach View Casino.
At all three restaurants, start the fête
with an amuse of Polynesian chicken salad crunch. Then on to an appetizer of grilled jumbo red shrimp and beet arugula salad with white balsamic dressing. There are three choices for the entrée: shrimp and crabmeat Alfredo fettuccine; twin tournedos of beef with blackberry jus, served with asparagus
and baked potato; or chicken Oscar, topped with crab, asparagus and a rich hollandaise sauce served with
baked potato.
For the finale, each meal
has a fresh berry medley sabayon shortcake. The cost is $49.50 per
person. Diners must be 21.
Silver Slipper Casino
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel has Valentine’s Day dinner specials in the Jubilee Buffet and Blue Bayou Bar & Grill.
The Jubilee Buffet has Dungeness and snow crab ($49.95), along with the complete buffet offerings, from 4 to 9 p.m.
In the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill, a four- course dinner for two ($99) is available from 5 to 9 p.m. The meal starts with classic Italian bruschetta served atop rosemary crostini, followed by a Mandarin orange spinach salad with shaved onions, feta and candied pecans. The entrée to share is twin petite bacon-wrapped filet mignon and poached lobster tails served with seafood mashed potatoes and jumbo asparagus. For dessert, enjoy Key lime pie. There is also a lent option for the entrée: crab cake-stuffed grouper topped with a red pepper cream sauce.
