Fall in love with dinner out this Valentine’s Day
  GULF COAST — Gulf Coast casino chefs have put their hearts into creating some very special Valentine’s Day menus this year. From buffets to fine dining, steaks and seafood, there is something tasty for everyone to love among the holiday offerings. And don’t forget the sweet desserts.
While most of these specials are offered on Valentine’s Day, be sure to check the dates.
And, just a friendly reminder: In most cases, reservations are necessary and should be made soon. Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Scarlet Pearl
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort has Valentine’s Day meal specials at two restaurants. In Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood, enjoy a four-course meal
($120) starting
with chilled
seafood featuring Champagne-
poached Gulf
shrimp and marinated
crab claws served with house cocktail sauce and Creole remoulade. Oysters Rockefeller are served for the second course.
Choose the entrée between panko-crusted halibut with butter-poached lobster meat in a citrus buerre blanc or a 6-ounce center cut filet of beef with pan- seared foie gras, sautéed spinach, mushrooms and truffled potato puree. Dessert is a strawberry and cream cheesecake.

At Under the Oak Cafe, Valentine’s Day specials include fried red fish etouffee served with jasmine rice ($35) and Cajun crab cake filet mignon
($48). This meal features a 6-ounce filet topped with a seared crab cake, Cajun hollandaise, roasted potatoes and chopped asparagus. Chocolate strawberry Champagne cheesecake ($15) is the featured
dessert.
Beau Rivage
Fall in love at Beau Rivage as several restaurants, including BR Prime, have special meals on Valentine’s Day. At the award-winning steakhouse, guests are invited to start the evening a bowl of Carolina She- Crab soup ($16), then savor the evening over Chateaubriand for two ($125) with trumpet mushrooms and heirloom
carrots in sauce Perigueux. The romantic meal concludes with a decadent raspberry entremets ($15) with white chocolate Bavarian, raspberry, lemon anglaise and vanilla bean raspberry crumb. The sommelier’s Champagne feature for the evening includes Mumm Cordon Rouge Brut ($80) or Ruinart Rose ($130).
The restaurant will be open 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Feb. 14.
This Valentine’s Day, Salt & Ivy will offer a prix fixe meal from 4 p.m. to midnight for $65 per person. The meal begins with an appetizer of diver scallops with sugar snap peas and leek ragout, pancetta and summer squash soubise. The main course features prosciutto- wrapped pork tenderloin served with roasted fennel, creamy polenta and Alabama white barbecue sauce, followed by a molten lava cake topped with
