Caesars Founders Awards
Horseshoe Tunica recently held its annual Caesars Founders Awards event honoring team members in three categories: Blaze the Trail, All In On Service and Together We Win. Deborah Starrett, table games supervisor, and Quiana Brown, cage cashier assistant manager, were the Blaze the Trail award winners. Receiving the All In On Service award were Tandre Jackson, slot supervisor, and Timothy Jackson, security officer. And Carolyn Davis-Shelton, security manager, and Shane Shingler, dual rate dealer/supervisor, won in the category of Together We Win. The regional winner for Horseshoe was Timothy Jackson. The Founders Award recognizes outstanding achievements and exceptional contributions of these exemplary team members.
Riverwalk Diamonds
Riverwalk Casino Hotel named is
Riverwalk Diamonds for the first quarter of the year. Front-of-house Team Member of the Quarter was Dionne Doyle (right, pictured with General Manager Tim Morrissey), hotel front desk clerk, and Anna Jones, human resources business
partner, received the honor for back-of-house. Team Leader of the Quarter was Buffy Williams, assistant casino service manager.
Golden Nugget names second quarter STARs
BILOXI — Golden Nugget Biloxi recently named its STAR Employees of the Month for the second quarter of 2025. Nominees from several departments were recognized at a special luncheon where the three quarterly winners and three Leaders of the Quarter were named.
The second-quarter STAR employees were Patrick Busby, player services representative; Angela Jarriel, lead baker; and Michelle Bass, income auditor. The Featured Leaders of the Quarter were Willie Gordon, casino floor supervisor; Leticia Acosta, senior hotel housekeeping supervisor; and Jessie Walker, banquet captain.
Nominees included Lea Ochea, Hong Nguyen, Teresita Landry, Heather Frazier, Kennedy Wilson, Dennis Nguyen, Jarrett Taylor, Wayland May, David Boone, Paul Duplantis, Abbie Santa Cruz, Stephanie Craig and Charles Bosarge Jr.
All winners received a day off with pay, cash, and a resort gift certificate. All are also eligible to be named the Star Employee or Featured Leader of the Year for 2025.
