BILOXI — I don’t recall if any of the characters in the movie Forrest Gump ever brunched together. Maybe they didn’t have a restaurant that served everything
that makes a great weekend brunch — bacon and eggs, shrimp and grits, burgers, and more. That is not a concern at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., the Golden Nugget Biloxi restaurant that pays tribute to the movie. There, guests can enjoy the new weekend brunch, featuring a variety of entrees served Saturdays and Sundays in a relaxed setting inspired by the much- loved film.
Bubba Gump’s is such a fun restaurant with its colorful booths,
classic kitsch, and walls lined with framed photos, license plates and movie memorabilia. Along with the booths, there is plenty of table seating, and the dining room is filled with sunlight streaming in from the wall of windows that overlooks the outdoor patio, pool area and tropical landscape.
