Tracy Lawrence, a cornerstone of ‘90s country music, has built a storied ca- reer spanning over three decades. Born in Atlanta, Texas, and raised in Foreman, Arkansas, he moved to Nashville in 1990, launching a remarkable journey with his debut album, Sticks and Stones, in 1991. The album’s title track became his first No. 1 hit, followed by a string of chart-toppers like “Alibis, Can’t Break It to My Heart” and “Time Marches On,” the latter holding the top spot for three weeks. His 1993 album Alibis and 1996’s Time Marches On both earned 2× plati- num certifications, showcasing his knack for blending traditional country with heartfelt storytelling. CHOCTAW — Aaron Lewis & The Stateliners will take Centerstage at Pearl River Resort’s Silver Star Convention Center for the “American As It Gets Tour” on Saturday, Oct. 4. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the concert starting at 8 p.m.
Lewis’ country career took off with the 2011 EP Town Line, which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, driven by the platinum-certified single “Country Boy,” featuring George Jones and Charlie Daniels. His first full-length solo album, The Road, followed in 2012.
