CHOCTAW — Ashley McBryde will take the stage at Horseshoe Tunica’s Bluesville on Friday, Nov. 21. The concert is set for 8 p.m.

 McBryde, born in 1983 in
Mammoth Spring, Arkansas,
discovered her musical calling
early, penning her first song at age
12. Inspired by bluegrass festivals
and classic country, she honed her
craft at local venues and Arkansas
State University, majoring in music.
After graduating, McBryde self-
released her debut album in 2006
and Elsebound in 2011. Moving to
Nashville in 2007, she persisted until her 2016 EP “Jalopies & Expensive Guitars” caught Eric Church’s ear, landing her on his tour and a Warner Music Nashville deal.
Her 2018 breakthrough album Girl Going Nowhere spawned the top-30 hit “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,” earning a Grammy nod for Best Country Album. McBryde’s

Tracy Lawrence, a cornerstone of ‘90s country music, has built a storied ca- reer spanning over three decades. Born in Atlanta, Texas, and raised in Foreman, Arkansas, he moved to Nashville in 1990, launching a remarkable journey with his debut album, Sticks and Stones, in 1991. The album’s title track became his first No. 1 hit, followed by a string of chart-toppers like “Alibis, Can’t Break It to My Heart” and “Time Marches On,” the latter holding the top spot for three weeks. His 1993 album Alibis and 1996’s Time Marches On both earned 2× plati- num certifications, showcasing his knack for blending traditional country with heartfelt storytelling. Songs like “Paint Me a Birmingham” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are” remain fan favorites, resonating with audiences through their emotional depth. Lawrence’s live shows are renowned for their energy, often featuring hits like “Texas Tornado” and “How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye,” draw- ing crowds with his authentic sound and engaging performances.
