As a lifelong Gulf Coast resident, Jennifer Boles has been committed to bettering the community through her service as a hospice representative. She is dedicated to educating the public on the importance of palliative care and the support that we have to offer patients and families in a difficult time of need. Jennifer says, “ I’ve grown up in the medical field and my brother is a respected doctor at Memorial, so I have been familiar with the clinical side of hospice for a very long time. However, my heart lies on the “personal” side of care. I take a personal look at each case and family and strive to make it as easy a transition as possible with as much personal attention given as well.
Compassion is probably my best quality as a person which enables me to be the best liaison possible for these families. “
Terri Harris, Assistant Director of Operations and Personnel Management, is responsible for assisting in oversight of day to day operations. Terri is responsible for ensuring our office runs properly, so that our families may receive the best care possible. Terri says, “It takes a special staff to provide comfort
for our Hospice families, by serving those employees, it allows me to contribute to the quality of our Hospice Families stay”
Pam Lott, Hospice Specialist, had this to say about her job, “I bring my spiritual side to customer service that is vital to patients
and their families during their toughest times. Along with this, I have so much compassion that it’s indescribable. I’ve been told this is my calling and I completely agree! Canon also benefits from my positive energy when it comes to marketing and interactions with all types of medical facilities. Hospice isn’t my job, it’s my mission! “
