The vibe at Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar and Restaurant is laid back. In fact,
the laid back, eclectic beach vibe is something on which the New Orleans- based company prides itself, and it fits in perfectly along the West Biloxi Beach Boardwalk. But don’t let the aesthetic fool you — Lucy’s is pumping out some of the best beach fare in South Mississippi.
One of the great things about Lucy’s is that it’s always “Taco Tuesday.” Director
of Operations Pete Montecino said tacos are one of the restaurant’s mainstays. They have five different tacos to serve
a wide range of taste buds. There’s the whole Gulf fish, pao pao shrimp, classic ground beef, blackened fish and pork carnitas. The tacos come with house- made black beans and slaw, and you can add the house-made guacamole for a few dollars more.
Montecino said the new South Mississippi location, which opened in
