The company has a large fleet of tractors and trailers and offers portable, on-site storage containers and portable offices.
A lot of people ask what the difference is between our company and other companies. There isn’t one thing that differentiates us. It’s a lot of little things. It may be one to five percent here, three percent there and a half percent over there that makes the difference. We are constantly looking for ways to improve, not by yards, but by inches. And some of those are hard-fought inches.

It Takes a Team
It takes drive, hard work, commitment, loyal employees and a dedicated
family to build a successful business this diverse. It also takes attention to detail that can’t be packed into eight hours a day, five days a week. That same passion and love for the business that fueled those early days working beside his dad still powers Fayard, Jr. His three sisters are part of the team, his wife, Tanya, works part-time and has been very supportive, and now a new generation of Fayard children, including his son Tripp (Johnny III), nephew
Vic, Jr., and multiple family members, including cousins, are learning the ropes to continue the family legacy.
Fayard is proud that his business is built on a legacy of family and loyal employees who seem like family
— many of whom have been there 20-plus years, one of whom has over
54 years with the family businesses. Business can be just a business, but with a commitment to serve customers at a level they deserve – John Fayard Moving & Warehousing has exceeded that generalization with a foundation to serve for many years to come.
Between Gulfport (above) and Mobile (below), the company has over a million square feet of pristine warehouse space.
