Nick Purdy — Recruiting Manager: Nick lives in Pascagoula with his girlfriend Alyssa and has been with Express for two years. He started his first leadership role as a captain of the Pascagoula Baseball team and then at MGCCC. Nick continued in leadership as he lead the team as captain at Northwestern State University in Louisiana where he lettered both years and was the only member of the team to start all 56 games his senior year. Nick has been a competitor all of his life and carries that competitiveness over to his work. Nick quickly rose through the ranks at Express and was named recruiting manager in less than a year from the start of his career at Express. “Express was there when I needed a job and it is now my passion to help others who are in the same situation,” Nick says. “My job is to find my customers top talent with speed and precision.” Around the office Nick is known as the Donkey of Commercial Recruiting.
Joy Esqueda — Contract and Search Specialist: Joy joined the Express team in 2014. Joy is the mother of three boys, Gabriel, Kai, and Cruz, and married to Eddie Esqueda. Joy is originally from Pensacola and now resides in Biloxi. She serves as the Professional Contract & Search Specialist in the Accounting/Finance. Prior to Express, she worked
in the Casino/Hospitality Industry for more 15 years in various management roles. She lives in Biloxi with her family. Joy prides herself on being a great mother and wife first and foremost. After family, her work is what she prides herself on. Joy has risen quickly at Express. Starting at the front desk and then to a commercial recruiting position before filling her current roll. Joy is a true leader and continues to make huge strides towards advancement in her career.
Calvin Ishee— V.P. of Business Development and IT: Calvin joined the Express team in January 2015. He recently returned home to the Gulf Coast after serving more than 10 years in the United States Air Force abroad. Calvin is the father of Skyla, Ariana, and Caylee and husband to Bia. Calvin brought a unique perspective to the Express team by serving our country overseas and retiring from the Air Force as a Disabled Veteran. Calvin brings many skill sets to the table such as IT, Sales, Procurement, recruiting, among many others. Calvin has only been with Express for six months but shows early signs of leadership and growth is surely on the way.
