Murky Waters perfectly marries blues music and barbecue to create a fantastic music venue with a killer menu. Pecan and hickory wood are used for the smoke, but the real secret behind Murky Water’s to-die- for barbecue is the dry rub. There are also three BBQ sauces to select from — sweet, Carolina style vinegar, and spicy.
The barbecue joint offers a variety of smoked meats, including chicken, ribs, pulled pork and sausage, served by
the plate or as a sandwich. A few other standouts include the house made smoked tuna dip, pulled pork nachos and famous
wings. One of the most popular items on the menu is the burnt ends, which are the fatty pieces of brisket trimmed to make it easier to slice. These are rst come, rst serve, so get there early to make sure you get some!
Tuesday is pint night, 5 to 10 p.m.; get $4 pints on any draft craft beer. Wednesday is wing night with 65¢ wings and Saturday and Sunday have game day specials, with food and drink specials all day. On top of great food and specials, you can enjoy live music Wednesday and Friday nights in GPT and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon in OS.
