Shelves and storage run the length of a long hallway displaying books and mementos collected in the del Cids' travels. Of special interest are the small replicas of di erent types of houses and abodes from around the world. “The shelves hold the history of our lives,” Dianne said.
Two bedrooms were converted into a large studio where the del Cids work from home. Both work stations have great views of the surrounding grounds.
The master bedroom was a porch in its former life but now is a relaxing room with soft blue walls and large windows with peaceful views of outside greenery. Two windows
that had to be replaced now hang on the wall and hold family photos. Donald built the bed's headboard and added mosquito netting supported by birch limbs as a canopy.
The home now has only one bedroom but there is a special place for visiting family to stay. Dianne has three children and two grandchildren and Donald has two children and four grandchildren. The del Cids have a 399-square-foot tiny house at the back of their property. Donald points out
