For nearly 17 years, Cuz and Christine Barnes have been serving up po-boys, pasta, salads, and much more at Cuz’s Old Town Oyster Bar & Grill in Bay St. Louis.
One of the beverage selections on the
menu is the Pirate Bloody Mary – a bloody mary topped with a fried soft shell crab,
fried shrimp, and bacon, along with all the traditional toppings. Christine Barnes says it’s delicious and one of her favorite beverages to prepare for her guests. The fried shrimp salad is one of her personal favorite menu items, saying, “I don’t ever get tired of our salads. Another favorite is our homemade fried green tomatoes. They are amazing, topped with a
homemade shrimp remoulade – to die for!” Cuz and Christine, who were both born and
raised in Bay St. Louis, opened a restaurant because of their deep love of cooking and making others happy. They encourage others to pursue their dreams. “If you truly have a passion for cooking and pleasing others, then I say go for it,” Christine said. “It has been such a wonderful experience for Cuz and me, and we have had the opportunity to meet some truly amazing people along the way.”
Cuz’s Old Town Oyster Bar & Grill is located at 108 S. Beach Blvd., Bay St. Louis, and is a member of the Mississippi Coast Restaurant and Beverage Association.
