scrumptiously loaded with roast beef, homemade gravy, and a mix of cheese, served over French fries. A Southern theme is maintained in this menu and is perhaps best represented by the field pea, tomato and okra sauté. Executive Chef Josh Rogers says it’s the center piece of the menu. If you’re
in the mood for soul food, start here. Fried green tomatoes and a huge portion of blackened chicken nachos are all to be found as appetizers, and both are delicious.
It’s hard to find anything on this impressive menu that isn’t tempting, but the Montague Steakhouse Broiler that can reach temperatures
of eighteen hundred degrees, makes the grill selections even that much more tempting. There is a huge tomahawk ribeye if you have a serious need for beef, but there are four other steak options to choose from, plus a double-cut pork chop and a grilled duck breast.
Patio 44 hums along with all cylinders firing, from a modern — but comfortable atmosphere — to slick service with wait staff decked out in white over black, and it’s a nice, classy touch to be sure. The menu is hefty, with at least fifty selections, and varied enough to please almost anyone.
Patio 44 is just right for lunch with friends, a glass of wine at the bar (there are well over one hundred labels in the wine cellar), a big date or family night out.
