The Gulf Coast Event Professionals team is a well- rounded group, featuring a knowledgeable staff that comprehensively covers each aspect of an event. The group consists of a sound and entertainment specialist, photographer, videographer, event planner, culinary professional, makeup artist, photo booth provider and staging and lighting design specialists, with additional ties outside of the organization to recommend local bakeries and florists.
“We wanted to include as many vendor categories as we possibly could,” said Marcel Lanoux, who works as a DJ and master of ceremonies for Nightshift Sounds Entertainment. “We only recommend professionals who are top notch and will maintain the level of quality and service that we expect.”
Lanoux was approached by Jean McGrury of After the Proposal about a year and a half ago with the idea to open an office co-op and showroom. “Jean and I have worked on so many weddings and events together
over the years, and we’ve really developed a great relationship. For us, it’s all about the bride and groom,” said Lanoux. “We like to say that we’ve got everything here except the dress.”
“The point of creating Gulf Coast Event Professionals was to have everything under one roof,” said Leo Ridge, group member and owner of Snaparazzi Photobooth Company. “It makes it a lot easier so you’re not having to run around and locate all of these different people yourself.”
The group will be hosting a bridal open house on Thursday, February 16, where brides will be able to meet the team behind Gulf Coast Event Professionals, as well as explore their beautiful showroom. The two- hour event begins at 6pm, and will feature cocktails, appetizers, music and door prizes.
