GIVING BACK party with a purpose
Helping local families battling cancer by giving direct financial assistance to those
in need.

After witnessing the financial hardships that family members and friends experienced while battling cancer and leukemia, a group of local ladies decided to do something to help those in need while battling these diseases.
“No one should ever have to worry about how they are going to pay bills or put food on the table while fighting what is probably the biggest fight of their lives,” said Julie Bradley, president of Costumes for a Cause.
In 2009, this group of ladies hosted
a Halloween Charity Ball called Costumes for a Cause to help a local family. After seeing what they were able to accomplish for that family
with that one event, they decided to expand to help more local families. They chose to create a 501 c 3 non- profit organization called Costumes for a Cause, also known as C4AC. The organization is 100 percent volunteer based, and 100 percent of all proceeds are donated to local families in need of assistance while battling cancer.
With their added annual fundraising events such as Racquets & Rita’s Tennis Tournament, Chipping for Charity Golf Tournament and the Halloween Charity Ball, “Ghouls Gone Wild,” they have been blessed to donate $93,500.00 to local families.
The families have words of gratitude. “There are no words to truly express how grateful we are for what your organization does to help families like ours,” Josh, Stacey, Gage and David.

our family. Your support helped us immensely with medical bills and travel expenses to M.D. Anderson Hospital in Texas. Your hard work and dedication make a difference during tough times like these,” Sammie, Lisa, Emma and Eli.
“Thank you so much for the money and prayers. They came at a time we needed it most,” William and family.
