ate has been kind to former longtime Sun Herald publisher Roland Weeks, who retired from the newspaper in 2000 at age 65. As Ralph Waldo
Emerson is noted as saying, “Once you make a decision, the universe conspires
to make it happen.” And fortunately for the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Weeks had
a passion for wanderlust, adventure and living a life made of quick decisions, with some divine intervention or, at the very least, some assistance from the universe.
^ With a lifelong love for adventure and trying new things, Roland Weeks pilots an airplane -- upside down.
