Owner, The Stone Man & The Gem Lady
John Scranage makes up “The Stone Man” part of his store’s moniker, joined by his wife Sami Taylors-Scranage, “The Gem Lady.” The two history bu s have had their shop since 2006 and have collected countless interesting items and anecdotes along the way.
John is a collector of stones and fossils, and loves sharing his passion with customers. Each item in the store is hand-selected, and the Scranages can recall every detail of its history. John is also a gold and silver smith and enjoys bringing his wife’s designs to life.
