The hope for many eateries on the Gulf Coast is to cater to the beach crowd. The truth about Ajax Seafood Kitchen and Bar is that they have actually succeeded in making it an authentic beach experience complete with excellent seafood, tropical drinks, a salty breeze and a never ending beautiful view of the Mississippi Sound.
There is so much more to Ajax than just good food and good service. The atmosphere is like a perpetual party, and families have a good chance to catch one of the spectacular light shows that occur around sundown on most Mississippi
Gulf Coast evenings while seated in one of the 160 outdoor chairs along the outside deck of Ajax. The beach is literally a stone’s throw away and occasionally a pod of dolphins is seen bursting from the water.
Moms and dads who need an outlet for rambunctious children while waiting for food to arrive are not relegated to the playgrounds at fast-food restaurants. Ajax has a giant sandpit enclosed in a courtyard that’s complimented with beach toys to keep the tikes entertained until it’s time to eat.
Once the food arrives, the real fun begins. At first glance of the chalkboards on the walls, the menu looks Spartan compared to many places. The reason is
