IMMS hosted their first sea turtle release for 2024 on Thursday, March 21 in Biloxi, MS. The event received quite a turnout on the beach and online.
Data collected from these turtle releases aid in understanding how the Mississippi Sound and surrounding waters are being utilized by the species. Mississippi Department of Marine Resources continues to offer collaboration and support to IMMS satellite telemetry projects.
