Many honored at Slipper
HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel named Employees and Supervisors/Managers of the Month for September, October, November and December. Luncheons were held in the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill to honor the nominees and winners.
In September, Robert Jackson, slots, was named front-of-house Employee of the Month, and Deborah Cruse, purchasing, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. Justin Krogstad, food and beverage, was named Manager of the Month.

cage; Crystalyn Brown, hotel
housekeeping; Shannon Luc, security; Carla Roscoe, warehouse; and Mika Roberts, Player Services.
In October, the front-of-house Employee of the Month was Milton “MJ” Favre, table games, and Byronnesha “B” Thomas, environmental services, was the back-of- house Employee of the Month. Stefanie Jones, Players Services, was named Supervisor of the Month.
Nominees included Dustin Payne, facilities; Matthew Kennedy, slots; Grayson Tilley, food and beverage; Amy Cabrera, PBX/reservations; Tyler Echelmeir, food and beverage; and Oscar Thomas, facilities.
November’s front-of house Employee of the Month was Doc McCoy, security. Christie Pittman, executive administrative assistant, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. Janelle Foster, security shift supervisor, was honored as Supervisor of the Month.
November nominees included Teresa Fleming, housekeeping; Angela Light, Blue Bayou; Barry Lusich, valet; Kevin Hodge, EVS; Melissa Buchanan, cage shift supervisor; David Benson, food and beverage; and Danny McManus, table games shift manager.
And, in December, the front-of-house Employee of the Month was Susan Garling, Player Services. Joseph Scruggs, facilities, was named Employee of the Month for back of house. Margie Marine, wardrobe supervisor, was named Supervisor of the Month.
Demetra Joyner, cage cashier; Evette Necaise, guest room lead; Sadid Feliciano, security; Vincent Clark, security; and Joseph Scruggs, facilities, were December nominees.
Nominees and winners each received gifts and prizes, including cash and gift certificates.

Golden Nugget Biloxi names Star Leader of the Fourth Quarter
BILOXI — Paul Clark, human resources employee relations manager, was named Star Leader of the Quarter for the fourth quarter at Golden Nugget Biloxi.
Clark has been with the company
since November 2020. He is known
for his willingness to help his fellow workers with anything they need.
Clark has a dedicated work ethic and constantly finds solutions to many
difficult situations. His hard work and dedication make him a well-deserved recipient of this award, said his supervisor.

As Star Leader of the Quarter, Clark received a trophy, a special parking spot, $200 Golden Nugget credit and $500 cash.
