Two promoted, one director hired at Harrah’s
BILOXI — Harrah’s Gulf Coast announced two promotions and
the hiring of a new director at its Biloxi resort. Amanda Hansen has been promoted to senior director of operations, Olivia Davis has been promoted to regulatory compliance manager, and Ryan Witcher has been named director of food and beverage.
“Both Amanda and Olivia have been integral to our success, and their pursuits often go hand-in-hand,” said Jonathan Jones, general manager of Harrah’s Gulf Coast. “Collectively, these leaders have a tremendous impact
on our operation in ways that affect every department and every guest’s experience. We are fortunate to have them on our team, and I am excited to see what they will achieve next.”
In her new position, Hansen, who has been with Harrah’s Gulf Coast team or nearly 22 years, will oversee all gaming operations, including slots, table games and sports betting. In her previous position as director of casino operations, she played a vital role in bringing sports betting to Harrah’s Gulf Coast and Mississippi at large. Hansen worked closely with state regulators, including the Mississippi Gaming Commission,
to help usher in a new era in gaming
for Mississippi. She will continue to work with regulators to advance sports betting in the state and will also oversee spa, retail and environmental services
operations. Davis began
her career in the
gaming industry
10 years ago,
starting in the
casino cage. She
joined casino
compliance in
2017, learning
rules, regulations,
and effective
policymaking, the efforts of which earned her a compliance leadership position. She came to Harrah’s Gulf Coast in 2020 as regulatory compliance officer before being promoted to regulatory compliance manager.
Witcher’s pastry skills has landed him roles with Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons and the famed Tavern On The Green
in New York City. In January 2020, he joined Caesars Entertainment in culinary operations at Harrah’s New Orleans,

most recently holding the position of executive chef. He played an integral role in the kitchen and restaurant designs for the upcoming master plan expansion and renovation of Harrah’s New Orleans.
Witcher brings his international experience to Harrah’s Gulf Coast to create memorable experiences for guests and to position the property as a leader in food and beverage within Caesars Entertainment and along the Gulf Coast.
Lead Maintenance Technician
WaterView Casino Hotel promoted Calvin Miner to lead maintenance technician. He has worked at the Vicksburg property in the maintenance department since November 2018. Miner has an associate
in science degree from Hinds Community College where he majored in HVAC and refrigeration. Considered “an asset to the department,” Miner is skilled in various areas, including customer service, troubleshooting equipment, and preventative maintenance.
