Contributions & Donations
Showing Their Heart
Hard Rock recently donated $2,500 to the American Heart Association. Employees raised more than $1,000 in September by selling jean day passes, ice cream treats and tickets for a chance to win prizes. The property’s nonprofit organization, Rockin’ the Coast, also contributed to the cause. Additionally, a few employees participated in the Heart Walk on Sept. 28.

Community Support
Fitz Casino Hotel supported the community with several donations. A $5,000 donation was made to the Town of Wall for its Walls Delta Festival. Additionally, Fitz supported the Hernando Baseball Booster Club with a $5,000 donation, and made a $1,000 donation to the Family Biz Builder.
Charity Abounds
Boomtown Casino Biloxi and sister property Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast continue to make donations each
month to various community organizations. Boomtown donated $1,351.39 to Mississippi AmVets Post 1 in July; $1,421.55 to the Combat Control Foundation in August; and $3,000
in September to the
American Heart Association. Hollywood’s charity for July was Mary Queen of Vietnam Church with a total
of $2,597.54 donated. In August, Hancock Health Foundation received $1,581.86, and in September, the Court Appointed Special Advocates of South Mississippi was given $1,652.79. Presented to organization officials by property executives, the money is raised through guest donations of casino ticket-in, ticket-out vouchers.
Crewmembers Have Heart
It was a beautiful Saturday morning as Treasure Bay crewmembers, families and friends gathered recently at Jones Park in Gulfport for the annual Heart Walk benefiting the American Heart Association.Treasure Bay took first place in all three fundraising categories at the Heart Walk: Top Company, Top Team, and Top Walkers. The casino raised more than $31,000 for the American Heart Association over several months through a variety of fundraisers that included sales of the company’s Heart Walk T-shirt.
