Celebrate Fourth of July with casino fun
 MISSISSIPPI — Dig out your stars 18-ounce bone-in ribeye ($80) with pickled jalapenos, loaded potato salad
  and stripes, dust off your red, white and blue and get ready to celebrate this country’s birthday. Independence Day is Thursday, July 4. Some of the casino fun takes place before the holiday gets here and even continues throughout the month. There are giveaways, dining specials and even fireworks. There is plenty of excitement on July 4, too, including more fireworks, more giveaways and more dining specials.
Here is a list of some of the Fourth of July excitement.

On July 6, activate entries by swiping at the Rewards Kiosk between 8 and 9:50 p.m. At 10 p.m. 10 winners will be selected to win a share of $65,000 cash and Free Slot Play.
On July 4, enjoy dining specials in Under the Oak Cafe and Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood. In the Under the Oak Cafe, dig in to the Big Pig Tray ($28) loaded with smoked jalapeno sausage and pulled pork, Louisiana hot sauce pickles, baked beans, sliced watermelon and seasoned fries, or try the garlic butter boiled shrimp ($26) with one pound of shrimp tossed in garlic butter served with corn on the cob, smoked sausage and boiled red potatoes.
For dessert, there is the summer berry shortcake ($12): white chocolate mousse, sponge cake, and fresh strawberries and blueberries topped with whipped cream.
Scarlet’s offers a prime Angus
bourbon-barbecue glaze and served with deep-fried jumbo shrimp, elote creamed corn and chili-infused mushrooms. There is also speckled trout amandine ($48) topped with brown butter-braised almonds and jumbo lump crab meat. Sip a watermelon cooler ($15) made up of Hendrick’s gin, watermelon liqueur, Cointreau, strawberry puree and sour.
Harrah’s Gulf Coast
Harrah’s Gulf Coast invites guests to the Great Lawn, across from the resort, for an Independence Day celebration. Grab the family and get a spot on lawn to watch the City of Biloxi’s fireworks
show starting at 9 p.m. on July 4.
And on Saturday, July 6, players club members who earn 250 tier credits will receive a trendy round towel featuring the famous Biloxi Lighthouse. Earn
an additional 500 tier credits for a second towel. Credits must be earned that day until 8:45 p.m., and the towel or $20 in Free Slot Play, may be redeemed from 6 to 9 p.m. in the special events alcove. Towels are available while supplies last.
Beau Rivage
Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Beau Rivage with festive holiday fare and live entertainment throughout the course of the holiday weekend. From July 4-7, the Buffet will feature a special holiday menu served 11 a.m. 10 p.m. Special items include herb-crusted prime rib, barbecue pork steaks, Texas-style beef brisket, and spicy shrimp boil. The holiday dinner is $49.99 per person. From 8 to 10 a.m., traditional brunch will be served for $32.99 per person.
Salt & Ivy features a special on July 4 during lunch and dinner: Honey barbecue pork sandwich with Applewood smoked bacon, crispy tobacco onions,
and fries. The restaurant also offers its traditional Champagne brunch, featuring bottomless mimosas, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 6-7.
Through July 14, Snacks, located on the casino floor, features a festive red, white, and blue Berry Swirl Cheesecake. And in the Roasted Bean, the featured cupcake of the
month (right) is
peach blueberry.

On the pool deck, DJ Hyphee will be spinning the tunes from 1 to 6 p.m. on July 4-6.
Treasure Bay
Treasure Bay has an All-American Barbecue in the buffet, July 4-5, plus an all-day dinner special, July 4-7. In the infinity buffet, barbecue is back, featuring slow-cooked ribs, smoked brisket, pulled pork and bacon-bourbon chicken. Enjoy these favorites along with western-style baked beans, roasted corn on the cob and more. The all-day dinner special, served 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 4-7, features an expanded seafood selection, including boiled shrimp, fried frog legs and soft shell crab.
Dinner with crab is $47.99 and $25.49 without crab. Discounts are available for players club members as well as members of the military and guests 50 and older.
At Agua Pool bar and Grill, there are several specials lined up for the Independence Day Weekend. Enjoy a brisket or pulled pork sandwich with fries for $14. Sparks will fly with a 25% discount on select red, white and blue holiday cocktails: Firecracker, Sparkler,
