our bartender and cook, also mixed for us a Blue Hawaii and a Miami Vice, a combination of a freshly made frozen pina colada and a strawberry daiquiri.
Favorite starters include chicken wings, boudin egg rolls, and mozzarella sticks. Our thought was why go for one when you can order the appetizer sampler and get chicken tenders, French fries and cheese sticks in one order, which is exactly what we did. The fries were crispy, the mozzarella s t i c k s , served with marinara for dipping, were flavorful, and
the tenders were, well, tender and tasty.
Agua’s also has
sandwiches made with
Boar’s Head turkey and
ham, plus a chicken wrap and a chicken tender basket, both of which come with fries or chips.
After our apps, we had the classic hamburger made fresh on the outdoor
grill. The thick patty topped with American cheese comes served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions. We found two hands were necessary to hold this big, juicy burger. We opted for chips as the side with our burger.
Perhaps the most popular menu item is the brick-oven pizza — and yes, there is a real brick oven at the bar where the made-to-order pizzas are cooked. The

With Allison’s help, we built our own pizza with cheese and lots of veggies, and when it was finished cooking, we watched as Allison carefully pulled it out of the outdoor oven. Like everything at Agua, the pizza was wonderful — and the six slices quickly disappeared.
Agua is offering holiday specials, July 4 through July 7, with brisket and pulled pork sandwiches available. There will also be a discount on holiday cocktails, along with live entertainment on select days. James Gillies takes the stage on the top deck on July 6 and Kelsey Moran performs July 27. Shows are 2 to 6 p.m.
Treasure Bay has two tropical pools. A day pass can be purchased for $10 Monday through Friday, $20 Saturday and Sunday, and $25 on special event days. Don’t forget to bring your own towel. Open to those 21 years and older, Agua is open daily, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
