Dockside Deli will also serve a festive feast for Father’s Day, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The menu will start with seafood gumbo, then choose an entrée of either fried soft shell crab with lemon butter or a half rack of St. Louis ribs, both served with fries and coleslaw and end with a dessert of fresh berry shortcake for $23 per
person.
Carter Green Steakhouse will also be serving up what Dad
likes from 5 to 10 p.m. Start the meal with a choice of cucumber- crowned house salad or seafood gumbo. Then choose between surf and turf or grilled fresh fish with lemon butter sauce and tenderloin medallion with jus for the main course, both served with asparagus and baked potato. Finally, for dessert, there is chocolate cake a la mode. This special will be available for $50 per person.
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort
At Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, two restaurants
have specials on Father’s Day, June 18. First, in
Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood, there is the tripletail
court-bouillon ($48) with blackened tripletail
fish, fried soft shell blue crab and andouille rice in
tomato broth, along with the Scarlet surf and turf ($95), a 28-ounce prime porterhouse with whiskey grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus and whole grain mustard-glazed fingerling potatoes.
In Under the Oak Cafe, treat Dad to the 12-ounce Cajun-crusted prime rib ($45) with Cajun au jus, loaded twice-baked potato and grilled broccolini. For dessert (or, for Dad’s meal, if he wants) there is the hot blondie a la mode ($10), a homemade blondie brownie with dark chocolate, butterscotch and vanilla bean ice cream topped with fresh whipped cream.
