Scarlet’s is known for its USDA prime steaks and its fresh seafood, much of it locally sourced. Reichel, who grew up on the Gulf Coast and honed his craft through the years, has worked for a variety of local chefs, all tops in their fields. He makes sure the quality of all products used at
the restaurant is the freshest. Additionally, just about everything offered at Scarlet’s is made in-house. “If we can make it by hand, then we do,” Reichel said. “I think that makes it a superior product and there is nothing like it.” This includes sauces, dressings and even the pasta used for the lobster ravioli appetizer, which followed the oyster amuse we were treated to
