Harrah’s holds $50K slot tournament
BILOXI — Play to win, give it a spin in the $50,000 South Slot Tournament at Harrah’s Gulf Coast. Thousands in Free Slot Play will be awarded, including a $15,000 Free Slot Play prize for first place, during the event set for Friday and Saturday, April 28-29.
Tournament registration takes place from 3:30 to 6:45 on April 28. The first round of tournament play starts at 7 p.m. On April 29, the second round begins at noon. And the third round, the bonus round, starts at 5 p.m. Compete in the bonus round and drop the lowest round score.
One in five tournament players will walk away with $500 in Free Slot Play. Along with the first-place prize of $15,000 Free Slot Play, Free Slot Play prizes include $5,000 for second place, $3,000 for third, $1,500 for fourth and $1,000 for fifth. Then, every fifth place following will receive $500 Free Slot Play.

29. Swipe at the Rock Box kiosk once a day throughout the month to get bonus entries. Hall of Fame members will receive 500 entries, while Double Platinum members receive 250 entries and Platinum members receive 100 entries.
Starting April 1, entries must be deposited by visiting the Rock Box. And, all entries automatically roll over week to week.
The progressive drawings take place each Saturday at 10 p.m. at the iLOV305 Stage in the center of the casino. One winner will be selected to win the top prize of $5,000 Xtra Credit. However, if that prize is not claimed,
the amount rolls over to week to week.
The final drawing takes place Saturday, Aug. 29, at 10 p.m. And there is a twist. If the prize isn’t claimed at 10 p.m., one
hot seat winner will be announced at 11 p.m. to receive $5,000 Xtra Credit prize.
And at 11:30 p.m., the top entry earners will each receive $1,000 Xtra Credit. The total number of winners will depend on the guaranteed prizes amount on April 29.
