Silver Slipper Casino Hotel has Easter specials in the Jubilee Buffet and in the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill. On Easter Sunday, enjoy a Champagne brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The special holiday menu includes prime rib, crab and shrimp served until 9 p.m. The full menu will be available. The buffet is $49.95 all day.
In Blue Bayou, dine on veal scallopini with jumbo lump crab and sauce three ways with wild mushroom risotto ($52) or Mediterranean grilled lamb chops with citrus-mint couscous ($52). The restaurant will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the brunch menu will also be available. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (228) 469-2777, ext. 2870.
Treasure Bay
Hop over to Treasure Bay for an Easter brunch at infinity buffet and two specials in The Den. The buffet features smoked brisket, stuff salmon, carved ham, meatloaf, boiled crawfish and crab legs, plus a variety of breakfast favorites. Be sure to save room for the holiday desserts.
The Easter brunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $38.69 with players club card. Brunch without crab is $19.99.
The Den has two special holiday meals for guests to enjoy. The three-course menu features honey-bourbon-glazed ham, Red Bliss mashed potatoes with gravy, brown buttered baby carrots and asparagus, fresh fruit ambrosia, deviled eggs and a honey buttered roll served with soup or salad and dessert. This special is available starting at 11 a.m. for $35 per person.
The seafood basket for two features one pound jumbo peeled royal red shrimp, one pound jumbo snow crab, smoked sausage, Cajun-spiced boiled eggs, corn on the cob, red potatoes served with garlic bread. This special is available starting at 11 a.m. for $75.
Palace Casino Resort
Palace Casino Resort has two restaurants with holiday meals. In the Palace Buffet, Easter brunch and dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $26 with a players club card ($28 without). Enjoy seasonal favorites, along with prime rib, ham, roasted turkey and all the favorites from the Grill, Comfort, Wok and Coastal stations. Plus, get made-to-order eggs and omelets until 3:30 p.m.
In Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood, a three- course gourmet Easter dinner will be offered from noon to 6 p.m. for $69 per person. A three-course wine pairing can be added for $20.
Start the meal with a choice of a spring salad with scallion-buttermilk dressing or roasted asparagus soup. The main course
is a choice of Gulf grouper with shrimp and lump crab in a beurre blanc; Colorado lamb with mint pest; or prime rib with white cheddar potato soufflé and au jus. And for dessert, enjoy Apple Financier cake with house-made blueberry ice cream.
The ala carte menu will also be available. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (228) 432-8888 or booking at opentable.com. Limited reservations are available.
Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast
Hand-carved prime rib and roasted leg of lamb are just a few of the special items at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast’s Easter buffet. Served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in The Epic Buffet, the feast also includes turkey breast, jumbo shrimp, snow crabs, crawfish, catfish and more. The cost is $49.99.
WaterView Casino Hotel
Enjoy an Easter Day Blue Plate Special at WaterView Casino Hotel. The Lucky Bean has a special meal featuring ham steak, corn bread dressing, green bean casserole and a roll for $10 per plate. The special is available Easter Day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Pearl River Resort
At Pearl River Resort, The Buffet is offering an Easter brunch on April 17. Served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the brunch is $34.99 all day and crab legs will be available for $15.99 per pound.
