Players get weekly chances at luxury prizes, $250K grand finale cash
WEST MEMPHIS — Southland Casino Hotel is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a high-stakes promotion in March that offers players weekly chances at luxury prizes and a $250,000- cash grand finale.
The Living in Luxury promotion runs every Saturday in March, with hourly drawings from 6 to 9 p.m. and a weekly grand prize drawing at 10 p.m. Participants earn entries by accumulating points on their players card — 100 points equals one entry — and receive one free entry per day. The maximum is 10 entries per day, and entries can be earned now through March 28.
Hourly drawings award Free Play prizes. At 10 p.m. each Saturday, 10 winners are selected for a mix of cash, Free Play or one of the featured luxury
grand prizes. The weekly grand prizes include: March 7, Home theatre package; March 14, Premium massage chair; March 21, Outdoor Jacuzzi; and March 28, $250,000 in cold hard cash
Southland Casino Hotel, which opened in 1956 as a greyhound racing track and later added casino gaming, is marking its milestone year with the promotion.
The property features thousands of electronic games, table games, a hotel, multiple dining options and entertainment venues.
