Pearl River Resort has $100K giveaway

CHOCTAW — Pearl River Resort is kicking off the late
summer gaming season with The Big August Drop at its
Silver Star and Golden Moon Casinos.
The Big August Drop runs Fridays
and Saturdays, August 7-29. Guests
can win their share of $100K, with one
winner drawn each hour from 7 to 11
p.m. Winners are selected by Hot Seat
and receive Cash & BonusBet prizes of
up to $2,500. Also at Pearl River Resort:
• Bingo enthusiasts can mark their
calendars for the $10,000 Sizzling
Hot Bingo event on Saturday, Aug.
22. Registration and packet pick-up will
run from 5 to 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. and games
beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the Silver Star Convention Center.
Players will compete for a share of $10,000 in prizes. Those
who receive a postcard in the mail should bring it for special
access, but walk-ins are welcome with a $35 buy-in.
• Later in the season, the resort will celebrate Labor Day
weekend with Let’s Celebrate Labor Day Weekend bingo
action on Sunday, Sept. 6. The day promises double the prizes
during the main session and double the fun overall. Doors
open at noon, early bird sessions start at
1 p.m. and the main session kicks off at
1:30 p.m., followed by a Double Big Bang!
Session.
• Sports fans will love the expanded
and improved sportsbook at Pearl River
Resort. The resort encourages players to
download its mobile app, available on the
App Store for iOS devices or for Android
users, to stay connected with the latest
action and offers.
• Families seeking a break from the casino floor can cool off
at the nearby Geyser Falls Water Theme Park.
The park is open weekends only, with Saturday hours from
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday hours from noon to 5 p.m. It
is also open on Labor Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. More in-
