Backpack Donations
Hollywood Casino Tunica donated 200 backpacks recently at the annual
National Night Out Back to School Rally sponsored by the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department. The property also donated 200 backpacks to team members with children heading back to school.

Food Pantry Donation
Gold Strike Casino Resort recently gave $2,500 to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. Sacred Heart Southern Missions operates six food pantries in northwest Mississippi as well as a variety of other social service programs for families in need. Boomtown Casino Biloxi and sister property Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast continue to
make donations each month to various community organizations. Between the two properties, donations in the first quarter were made to Wild Acres Hands on Animal Experience (inset), $1,587.32; Mystic Krewe of the
Seahorse (above), $2,029.82; Goodwill Industries (below), $1,518.06; Bay Waveland Garden Club, $1,996.55; Loaves & Fishes, $1,400.09; and Hancock County Senior Center, $1,969.58. Presented to organization officials by property executives, the money is raised through guest donations of casino ticket-in, ticket-out vouchers.
National Night Out
Fitz Casino & Hotel supported the Tunica County 10-Point Coalition — National Night Out initiative with a $2,000 donation. Fitz Vice President and General Manager Tony Scudiero presented the check to Lt. Candy Hall with the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department.
