Ameristar team members honored for excellence
      VICKSBURG — Ameristar Vicksburg hosted its annual Team Member of the Year event, an exclusive evening honoring excellence and dedication. Invited team members and their guests enjoyed a festive cocktail hour followed by a formal banquet with the meal prepared by the food and beverage team.
Honored as Team Members of the Year were Stephanie Ward, front desk clerk; Patricia Rankin, laundry attendant; Greta Wardley, beverage server; and Cobey Ross, lead count team member. Regional Director
of Compliance Kimberly Alexander was named property Volunteer of the Year. And, Gloria Branson, slot service specialist, and Charles Bell, security officer, were ACES Guest Service winners.
Additionally, team
members were recognized
for their years of service.
Dexter Brown, DeShantra C. Thompson, Loran Harrison and Monique D. Stevenson
marked 30 years at Ameristar. Celebrating 25 years were Janet Curtis, Bridget Harris, Bridgette King, Jackie Blanks, James Tedder, Donald Prater, Angelia Price, Jewelry Davis and Derek Adams, while Jennifer Smith, Lillie Macon, Janice Blackmon, Lawanda Hampton,
Lehman Jackson and John Vaughn were recognized for 20 years of service.

VICKSBURG — Cynthia Brown, dual rate slot attendant,
was named Team
Member of the Year
at WaterView Casino Hotel.
Brown has been in
her job since 1993,
and has been praised
for consistently
delivering exceptional
service to both internal and external guests, many of whom she knows personally along with their family members. Additionally, Brown regularly volunteers
to forego her personal time off on short notice to help address departmental staffing needs.
Beyond her work duties, she
dedicates time to community projects, demonstrating her commitment to both the property and the broader community.
For being named Team Member of the Year, Brown received $1,000 cash, a designated parking spot for one year and a commemorative plaque.

 Night of celebration at Harlow’s
 GREENVILLE — Harlow’s Casino Resort and Spa named its Team Members of the Year and Team Leaders of the Year for 2024 during
a night of celebration and elegance. The property also honored its Day One employees.
Edward Chan, slot technician, and Jerry Butler, security officer lead, were named Team Members of the Year. Arthurly Phillips, EVS supervisor and Day One employee, and Sharon Mitchell, cage shift supervisor, were named Team Leaders of the Year. These top team members received
a plaque and $2,000, while the team leaders received a plaque and $2,500.
Day One employees, who have
been at the property for 17 years, include Terry Bush, HVAC technician; Brenda Chillis, food and beverage supervisor; Bernice Richardson, laundry attendant; Sabrina Trowell, room inspector; Carolyn Drakes, human resources business partner; and Betty Harris, security officer.
