Earn points to get casino gifts, including Mardi Gras swag
MISSISSIPPI — Slot players are always hoping to hit the jackpot with each spin or push of the button. But while not all spins pay off in a big way, they do help players earn points — points that can be used to get gifts and other rewards.
Players club members are earning points now to get January gifts of the month. It is easy to do so. Be sure to have your club card properly inserted in the slot machine or give the card to pit personnel when playing table games to accumulate points. Points and rated play will add
up, leading the way to getting the gifts.
Some casinos offer
gifts on a weekly basis,
others on a specific
day. Make certain
you know how many
points are needed for the gift you want and the days you need to earn those points. Then, enjoy your vacuum, robe, skillet, mug, emergency road kit... and so much more.
Get some Mardi Gras swag at Island View Casino Resort. Every Sunday in January and February from 4 a.m. to midnight, earn 20 points of Slot View Play or have one hour of rated table play with a $10 minimum average bet, then swing by the Players Club for a gift.
On Sunday, Jan. 4, get a Mardi Gras cap; followed by a tote on Jan. 11; a Mardi Gras shirt on Jan. 18; and a light-up mug on Jan. 25. Collectibles in February include a Mardi Gras hat, towel and cooler bag. Play every Sunday to collect them all.

At Bally’s Vicksburg, players club members are earning points in January for a special gift. Players who coin-in $300 on any slot machine on Sundays can swipe at any promotional kiosk to print a ticket to be redeemed at the Riverroom between 1 and 5 p.m. Gifts include an Amy Miller bathmat, a six-piece towel set, comfy robe and
a six-piece bath set. There is a limit of one gift per person each week.
WaterView Casino Hotel has the Earn & Get Gift Giveaway on Fridays in January, excluding Jan. 30. MyEdge cardholders
who earn 75 points on each promotion day can swipe at any promotional kiosk from 4 to 8 p.m. for a ticket to claim a cookware item. Redeem the ticket for the gift of the day in the Event Center while supplies last. A variety of stackable skillets and pots will be given away.
A ceramic mug set is the perfect gift for January from Riverwalk Casino Hotel. On Wednesday, Jan. 14, players club members who earn 100 points from 7 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. can swipe at any kiosk to print a vouch to redeem a gift. Pick up the mugs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. And, random sets will contain mystery BonusPlay prizes.
Gear up for winter at Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel in January. Players club members who earn 250- plus points on Saturday, Jan. 17, can visit the players club from noon to 8 p.m. to pick up the gift: a Firestone 28-piece auto emergency kit. There is a limit of one per person, while supplies last.
