What would you like our readers
to know about your business? At J Laurie, we specialize in great looking shoes that are also COMFORTABLE! We understand that most women are not willing to be in pain to look great. But also that comfort doesn’t mean having to wear ugly shoes! Brands like Naot, Earthies, Spring Step, and Fly London, all are designed for every day living, walking and overall great looks.
What do you like best about what you do? Hearing customers tell me that we have such a great selection. I work hard to choose a great variety of styles, colors, heels, flats that will help to compliment wardrobes and lifestyles.
What sets your business apart
from others in the same field? Most other boutiques along the Gulf Coast feature clothing or jewelry. We are one of the only boutiques where shoes are the main event! We also sell great handbags and some stunning jewelry.
As a child, what did you dream
of becoming when you grew up? Mathematics was always my passion which eventually lead me to a career in accounting and information technology. Those skills still serve me well in my business today.
Is there anything you would change to make the Coast better? I was born and raised in New York City, so I appreciate how different the Coast is from where I came from. I wouldn’t change a thing!
