What is your business? Captain Al’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant “The home of the original surf and turf on the MS Gulf Coast since 1993.”
What is your motto? Things don’t just happen!, YOU have to make them happen!!
What would you like our readers to know about your business? We are more than just a Restaurant. We have the BEST Steak & Seafood on the Gulf Coast, and make every- thing fresh daily with Homemade
recipes. We cook on an Open Pit Grill, over pecan wood, which is one of our signature secrets. So, you may be wondering “what else?” Well, we offer many types of catering such as: full service cater- ing, deliveries, we cook at offsite events, you can book the building for private parties, and much much more!!!
What sets you apart from others in the same field? Being a young female owner of a successful restaurant, which was built and owned by family since the very
beginning. The fact that this a fam- ily business keeps me more driven than just the average business owner, because this is me paying tribute to the family legacy.
What are your strengths? The knowledge and passion that I have for the business is definitely a strong point. The fact that I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I will do whatever it takes to get the job done. However, finding the strength to keep it all balanced would be one of my greatest strengths. Being able to balance a
family, and a successful business at the same time would definitely be my strongest point.
What is one valuable lesson you learned along the way? Everyday is a new day, and hard work and dedication is the only thing that will put you where you need to be.
