What do you want our readers to know about your business? Style and fashion have always been my passion. I love to talk fashion and really enjoy researching the latest trends. Growing up, some of my closest friends were involved in the retail fashion industry, which really allowed me to gain perspective. Knowing that you can make a living doing something you love is what many say is the “definition” of success and the main driver for turning this dream into a reality for me.
What sets your business apart from others? My style is very evident in my selection of inventory. I think it works for the specific location that I am in because it’s a slightly different
style than what is currently offered on the Gulf Coast. That’s what makes our industry so great. In retail fashion we can coexist based on different “tastes” in fashion.
I feel that living the fashions that I represent are a huge advantage too. There is not anything in Charisma that I wouldn’t own myself.
What did you dream of doing when you grew up? I’m so fortunate to be living out my dream of owning a boutique. My goal with Charisma is to provide an appealing variety
of clothing while offering an overall better shopping experience to
an already outstanding fashion community in the Gulf Coast region.
What would you like our readers to know about your business?
We are a wholesale/retail wine & liquor store. We pride ourselves on our customer service. It is our #1 priority. It’s easy to smile, greet a customer and thank them for their business. It costs nothing but will come back to you exponentially. We want to be the first place you think of for your wine & spirits needs; whether it be a quiet night at home or throwing a large party. We carry a large inventory and give special discount pricing on parties and events.
Tell us about one valuable lesson you learned along the way: Any
success in life takes hard work; whether it be college, opening a business, or taking care of your children or family members. You have to go beyond what your ordinary day would be. Give more of yourself, and thank the Lord for getting you there...every day.
As a child, what did you dream
of becoming when you grew
up? It certainly wasn’t owning
a wine & spirits store, but I love
it. The experience has been a
good one. My husband and I
own various other real estate,
but purchased this store in 2013. Our commitment and love for the community has grown the business.
