20 Celebrating 100 Years Lynn Meadows
Discovery Center is celebrating their building’s 100th
birthday with free admission, cake, games and more. Built in 1915, Mississippi City School educated children until closing
its doors in 1977. The children’s museum opened in 1998, survived Katrina and continues the educating legacy today. 12-5pm Lynn Meadows Discovery Center 228.897.6039, ext 309
24 Taste of Long Beach Enjoy the local
flavors of Long Beach at this annual event held to
