A restaurant doesn’t always make it
to the top of the charts just because it has an accomplished ambiance. It’s not always a great menu, trendy location, famous chef, or affordable prices either. All of these elements must be present, but sometimes it’s something deeper and more profound.
Pepe’s has made it to where it is today because it’s a family business, it espouses family values in everything
it does, and this tight knit family has stuck together, worked together, and just kept getting back on its feet for ten tough years.
You can count on a pleasant atmosphere with a comfortable Mexican theme, a solid menu, a passionate chef,
and a good location, but when you add to these much desired features, the love this family shares, you have something truly wonderful.
Co-owner Lilian Perez has been in the business since she was a teenager, her partner/father has been doing it all of his life, so this is an experienced crew. The wait staff are attentive, and not much escapes their notice, so you can expect sharp service here, even when it’s busy.
The menu is a good mix of Tex-Mex favorites and more traditional Mexican specialties. It’s a five pager, so it has some heft to it. There is a good selection of what you might expect, plus a good bit more. This is a menu that will
